Thomas J. Hofstedter, Investment Committee
Mr. Hofstedter attended the University of Toronto and became a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1978. Mr. Hofstedter became President and Chief Executive Officer of the REIT at its creation in December 1996. Prior to joining the REIT, Mr. Hofstedter was head of H&R Development’s commercial division.

Robert E. Dickson, Audit, Compensation, Governance and Nominating Committees
Mr. Dickson graduated from University College, Oxford in 1980 with a B.A. (Jurisprudence) and graduated from the University of Toronto Law School in 1982 with an LL.B. Since June 2011, Mr. Dickson has been a strategic financial consultant in the marketing and communications industry. Prior to that, from 2000, Mr. Dickson was Managing Director, MDC Partners Inc., a global business transformation organization, and Executive Vice-President, Corporate Development, Maxxcom Inc., a marketing communications organization, both public companies. Prior to that time, he practiced corporate law at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (now Dentons LLP) where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. Mr. Dickson’s academic and professional experience demonstrates expertise in the areas of law and finance. Mr. Dickson was a trustee of Edgefront (Nexus) REIT and director of Invesque Inc.

Edward Gilbert, Audit Committee
Mr. Gilbert became a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in December 1969. Mr. Gilbert had over 20 years’ experience in public accounting until his retirement from public practice in 1989. During his career in accountancy he was involved with the accounting and auditing of many real estate companies and was also involved in financing real estate projects. Mr. Gilbert has over 30 years’ experience in developing, owning, operating and managing real estate properties and ventures. Mr. Gilbert joined Firm Capital Mortgage Investors Corporation in 1995 and Firm Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation in 1999, both investment corporations. Mr. Gilbert is currently a director of Firm Capital Mortgage Investors Corporation and a director of Firm Capital Mortgage Investment Corporation. 

Laurence A. Lebovic, Investment Committee
Mr. Lebovic graduated cum laude with a B.Sc. from John Hopkins University in 1966 and received his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1971. Mr. Lebovic is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Runnymede Development Corporation Ltd., a real estate development corporation, and has been since 1993. Mr. Lebovic was formerly a partner at the law firm of Minden Gross LLP. He is also the investment advisor to a nonprofit foundation managing assets in excess of $120 million. 

Ronald C. Rutman, Investment,Compensation, Governance and Nominating Committees
Mr. Rutman graduated from the Commerce and Finance Program of the University of Toronto in 1975 and received his designation as a Chartered Accountant in 1976. Mr. Rutman has been a partner for over 40 years at Zeifmans LLP, Chartered Accountants (formerly Zeifman & Company, Chartered Accountants) and has substantial real estate experience. 

Stephen Sender, Audit, Compensation, Governance and Nominating Committees
Mr. Sender has over 30 years of experience in the investment banking industry in Canada and most recently, was Managing Director, Industry Head - Real Estate in Scotiabank’s Global Banking and Markets division representing the bank’s capital markets activities in the Canadian real estate industry. Since the early 1990’s he has specialized in the Canadian real estate sector, providing investment banking advice to numerous public entities with respect to capital markets activities. He has been directly involved in raising equity and debt capital in a large number of transactions and has provided financial advice in numerous large transactions including mergers, takeovers and related party transactions. Mr. Sender has been a frequent moderator/speaker at conferences in Canada focusing on capital markets developments in the real estate sector. Mr. Sender holds a B.Comm. (Honours) degree from the University of Cape Town and qualified as a C.A. (S.A.) in 1984. Mr. Sender is also a member of the Board of Directors of Sienna Senior Living Inc., a seniors’ living provider. 

Alex Avery, Investment Committee
Mr. Avery is a partner with FrontFour Real Asset Alternatives, an investment manager focused on North American real estate and related securities, where he is a portfolio manager. Previously, Mr. Avery spent 12 years with CIBC Capital Markets, where he was Managing Director and led its North American real estate research team, providing research coverage of more than 60 real estate investment trusts and real estate corporations. Mr. Avery has been consistently recognized as a thought leader in real estate strategy, leadership and governance by institutional investors, as a TopGun Analysis by Brendan Wood International and for his stock picking and earnings estimation by StarMine. Prior to joining CIBC Capital Markets, Mr. Avery worked at a global investment dealer conducting research on real estate and real estate investment trusts, and prior to that at Altus Group, a leading commercial real estate consulting and advisory firm. Mr. Avery earned his CFA designation, holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering & Management from McMaster University, and is a Chartered Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. 

Juli Morrow
Ms. Morrow is a partner at Goodmans LLP, one of Canada's premier transaction law firms, and is one of Canada's preeminent real estate lawyers. Her practice focuses commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, mortgage financing, leasing, management agreements and joint ventures. She has been recognized as one of Canada's leading real estate lawyers by Chambers Global and a number of other sources. She earned a B.C.L. from McGill University in 1975, an LL.B from McGill University in 1976 and a LL.M from the University of Toronto in 1979. She joined Goodmans LLP in 1977.
