This 973,661 square foot office complex recently underwent a completion renovation of the lobby and retail space.
As part of the renovation process, H&R REIT pursued LEED certification to optimize the building’s energy and operating costs. In November 2017, ONE60 Elgin was certified under the LEED V4 Existing Building rating system, becoming one of the first projects in Canada to achieve this new LEED V4 certificate, as well as LEED Gold status. In 2018, the project was nominated for the Ontario Leadership Awards and was recognized as the largest building in Canada to achieve LEED V4 certification. In 2019, ONE60 Elgin was recognized at the International Council of Shopping Centres Annual Design and Development Awards receiving commendation for outstanding renovation/expansion and sustainable design.
